RODENT TRAP HAVING A SNARE
The mouse must position itself inside the snare before it fires.
The mouse enters a wedge-shaped housing through an opening at the low end. It advances until it stands at least partially within an open snare loop and contacts a trigger at the rear of the housing. The trigger releases a spring, and the snare pivots from its open position to its closed position. The loop swings down around the mouse and pins it against the housing.
