HUMANE ANIMAL TRAP
A box with a door that swings one way.
The mouse pushes through a hinged door at the opening of a molded plastic box. The door swings freely inward, then falls closed under gravity behind the mouse. A weighted lower portion speeds the door's descent and lowers the trap's center of gravity so the trapped animal cannot overturn the box or push the door open. Apertures in the upper portion of the door admit air.
