RODENT TRAP
Nine variations on the standard snap trap in one patent.
A spring-tensioned wire smiter is held in set position by a latch rod engaging a lip on a resilient bait holder. The mouse depresses the bait holder or treadle; the latch rod is displaced laterally or downwardly. The smiter releases and snaps upward, striking the rodent against the stamped metal base. Eight further embodiments vary the shape of the bait holder, latch rod, and base to accomplish the same result.
