ANIMAL TRAP
Throws a chain loop over the animal's neck by spring action.
The animal seizes bait impaled on a hook, rocking the bait-carrying member and releasing two latches at once. Springs snap a yoke forward, throwing a looped chain over the animal's neck as it feeds. A second helical spring retracts, exerting a sharp pull on the chain while the throat is held against a fixed bar, breaking the neck. A U-shaped support can be turned upward to lock the set trap for transport.
