BIRD TRAP AND CAT FEEDER
A sparrow trap that delivers the sparrow to a waiting cat.
A sparrow enters the housing through a side hole and lands on a counterweighted pivot tube resembling a tree branch. The bird's weight lowers the tube toward a glass window; when the bird attempts to fly out through the glass, it leaves the perch, which returns to horizontal and blocks the entrance. The bird descends through the open bottom and an elongated down spout into a one-inch wire mesh cage at ground level. The bird sticks its head through the mesh, and a cat pulls it out with its paw.
