ANIMAL TRAP
A backpacker's dome tent that detains waterfowl instead of sheltering humans.
Flexible support poles are bowed into an inverted U and anchored to the ground, and a see-through nylon mesh enclosure is hung beneath them by snap-on hooks to form a cavity. The animal enters through a narrowing one-way tunnel entrance and is funneled toward a catch box. The mesh perimeter is anchored close enough to the substratum to prevent exit. The trap is then disassembled and carried away with the prey uninjured.
